Our slab flattening mill (often called a router sled) is a woodworking tool system designed to surface, flatten, and level large, rough wood slabs, live-edge tables, and wide boards that exceed the capacity of traditional planers or jointers.
- Functionality: Flatten twisted, bowed, or uneven live-edged slabs, glue-ups and epoxy pours to create a perfectly flat plane.
- Capacity: Horse Creek Woodworks can manage your projects small or large. We are able to manage slabs up to 4’ wide by 12’ long. Thickness of up to 4”
“Our client brought a stack of live-edge slabs they wanted flattened to a consistent thickness as well to create a flat surface.”
